Sad Face

Oh, how I wish I had a picture of Hannah's face. She experienced the emotion of disapproval for the first time, and she looked like it crushed her poor little soul.

I was carrying her around and she decided, for no particular reason, to see if she could tear my collarbone out through the skin. Yeah, it REALLY hurt. So I looked at her and said, "OW!" in a really loud voice, not thinking it would have much effect (I've tried this with 'No!' and all I get is a smile before she continues with her mischief).

Well, she looked at me with big eyes (even bigger than normal), the pouty lip went out, her chin quivered, and she burst into tears. I don't know if this is the appropriate reaction, but I thought it was so adorably hilarious that I couldn't help but laugh. So now she's probably completely bewildered, but maybe she'll let me keep my skin on in the future.
