Thoughts from the Guest Blogger

Sleep, sleep, sleep. That seems to be all my mom can talk about on this blog. She's giving me a bad rap- I sleep all the time! And she's not above taking a nap or two herself during the day, so tell her to put away the sad-song violins. I'm actually asleep right now (yes, I can blog in my sleep- I'm very advanced for my age).

I have been doing so much more than sleeping- I wonder if The Morons even notice. I look them in the eyes, I track them when they walk out of the room (especially the one who says she's Mommy- I like to call her the Big Giant Boob), I smile all the darn time...and all they can think about is when I'm going to sleep.

I'll tell you what makes me sleep- airplanes!! The BGB took me to a place called Washington a couple weeks ago, and man do I love that jet engine white noise. I slept the whole way there and most of the way home.

Washington was pretty cool. I got to see my Grandma and Uncle Andy again and meet all kinds of new people- my Great-Grandmother Jean, Great-Aunt Jamie, and someone they call my Jeff. I think he's my grandpa. Grandma and Jeff? Maybe he's grandma's boyfriend. She seems like she'd be past the mid-life crisis, but who knows.

Grandma and Mommy threw me a party- I got to wear a new dress and a rose bow in my hair! Mommy seemed really excited about the party, so I thought I'd throw her a bone and not yarf on my new dress (I saved the vomit for later when she was holding me in her lap...it was just too tempting, and besides, I warned her not to give me that nasty medicine). I put on my cute face and had a great time, although the party lasted longer than I did and I had to take a little nap before it was over.

I'll tell you what else was great about Washington. It wasn't quite so hot as it is at home. The BGB could put me in the carrier and go for a walk without sweating all over me- man, was that nice. She said maybe we'll live in Washington someday. I don't really have much of an opinion on that- I mean, I can hardly see across the room, so one place is pretty much like another- but if I always get this much attention there, it sounds like a good deal to me.
