Random achievement

I finally finished our wedding scrapbook! Yes, we have been married almost 2 1/2 years. It was one of those things that I knew I needed to do before June or it would never happen. My friend Trish, who got married the weekend before Nick and I, went through the same thing, staying up until all hours of the night to get hers done before Henry was born on December 1. Her apparent desperation prompted her dad to comment that "you know, even if you don't get your wedding scrapbook done, that doesn't mean the baby's illegitimate..."

So I'm glad that's over, and Hannah is safely an in-wedlock baby. Now I just need to do something with the other photos and memories I've accumulated since I last put anything in an album sometime in 2003. I have this crazy idea that, if I could actually get caught up on projects for once, maybe I could stay on top of them. Trish told me that she would laugh at most people for saying that, but she thinks I might actually be able to do it. I appreciate the vote of confidence. Nick would probably say that she hasn't seen the state of our office/guest room/craft central/future nursery lately... it doesn't appear to belong to anyone who could stay on top of what their first name is. I better make some more progress or Hannah's going to be sleeping in the kitchen.
